BEST TIME TO VISIT
November to early March is the best time to travel when the temperature is colder. December to February is winter season in India but remains warm because the Himalayas stop the cold wind from reaching most of India.

CLIMATE
Summer months are April to June with the temperature around 86 degrees Fahrenheit/30 degrees Celsius. The coldest weather lasts from around the end of November to the beginning of March. Rainy season in India begins the second week of July and continues up to the second week of October.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Visa is required for all US citizen to enter India. International travelers whose sole objective of visiting India is recreation, sightseeing, casual visit to meet friends or relatives, short duration medical treatment or occasional business visit are eligible to apply e-visa online. Passport must have a validity of 6 months from the date of arrival in India. Onward ticket is also required to enter.
